Leland-West Insurance

Founded in 1981, Leland-West developed its current “A+” rated collector car insurance program when our late founder, Holly Bromberg, decided he needed a change.

After years of overpaying to insure a Porsche which he hardly ever drove and babied like it was a member of the family, Holly decided there must be a better way. He deserved better and so did others like him, so he began work on the Select program.

After over a year of groundwork, a 60-plus question survey to about 11,000 Porsche Club of America members yielded an amazing 50 percent response and an overwhelming message from respondents: “Help!”

A year later the Select Automobile Insurance Program was made available to PCA members across the U.S. In 1995, the Select program was expanded to all makes and models of classic and exotic automobiles.
