The Saratoga Automobile Museum opened its doors to the Upstate NY community in 2002. Our mission is to celebrate the rich history, innovation, and cultural impact of the automobile in New York State and beyond. Through engaging exhibits, dynamic events, and educational programs, we strive to ignite a passion for automotive heritage and inspire future generations. Our commitment to preserving, showcasing, and sharing the diverse stories of automobiles is driven by a desire to connect enthusiasts, foster learning, and contribute to the vibrant tapestry of automotive culture.

The Museum is located within the 2,500-acre Saratoga Spa State Park, in the heart of historic Saratoga Springs, New York, world famous for its legendary thoroughbred track. The Museum’s facility is the fully restored and renovated New York State Bottling Plant, a beautiful neoclassical structure completed in 1935. The Museum sits adjacent to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and the lavish Hall of Springs event facility. Within walking distance; 2 golf courses, 2 pools hiking trails, the Spa Little Theatre, and the Gideon Putnam Hotel.

- Adults: $20.00
- Children 11-18: $15.00
- Children 10 & Under: FREE
- Students 17+ (with ID): $15.00
- Senior Adults 65+: $15.00
- Veterans/Active Military: $15.00
Special Guided Tours are available on select days and times listed below. They are free with admission to the Museum. Wednesdays: 2pm Sundays: 2pm
MUSEUM HOURS
NOVEMBER – APRIL: Wednesday – Sunday: 10AM to 5PM, Closed Monday & Tuesday
MAY – OCTOBER: Monday-Sunday: 10AM to 5PM, Open 7 Days a Week
CLOSED MAJOR HOLIDAYS:
New Year’s Eve & Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Independence Day and Christmas Eve & Day.
OTHER MUSEUM CLOSINGS:
Our schedule does change during exhibit changeovers and special events. During inclement weather, the Museum follows the Saratoga Springs School District closing and delay schedule. Please call the Museum or check the Museum’s social media platforms to be certain the Museum will be open to the public on the day of your expected visit.
ACCESSIBILITY AND SPECIAL NEEDS:
The Museum is fully ADA accessible. The entrance lobby is equipped with a wheelchair lift, and an elevator serves the second floor. A courtesy wheelchair is available at the Admissions Desk.
PARKING:
Free parking for museum visitors is available in our parking lot, entrance from the Avenue of the Pines.
No Food or Beverage allowed inside the Museum. No Dogs/Animals inside the Museum, service dogs with paperwork are always welcome.
CHARGING STATIONS:
Our Livingston Energy Charge Ports are newly installed. Please download the Charge Port app on Apple or Android to purchase a charging session.
The Museum is chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York Department of Education as a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit institution.
